The Oregon Nursing Academy Grant is a grant established to provide funding to educate nurses who are committed to working as clinical nurse faculty and preceptors, to increase the nursing workforce and improve health equity. Scholarship awards will include funding for a conference registration and travel stipend.
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Students can be in their first or second year of the Master's in Nursing Education program at OHSU.
Be considered a resident of the following states: Oregon, Washington, Idaho or Alaska.
Priority is given to students in their first or second year of the MNE program who are current employees of: The OHSU Hospital, Salem Hospital, Grande Ronde Hospital, Sky Lakes Hospital or Asante Health System.
Scholarship applicants are strongly encouraged to apply for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa. We will check with our financial aid office regarding FAFSA applications and results.
Scholarship awardees must remain in good academic standing.
