The Oregon Nursing Education Academy Grant is a grant established to provide funding to educate nurses who are committed to working as clinical nurse faculty and preceptors, to increase the nursing workforce and improve health equity. Scholarship awards will include funding for tuition for two graduate courses (one in summer 2023 and the second in fall 2023)
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be a registered nurse (RN) with a bachelor's degree in nursing.
Be considered a resident of the following states: Oregon, Washington, Idaho or Alaska and work in a clinical setting as an RN.
Priority consideration for in-state Oregon applicants will be given to a current employee of either the OHSU Hospital, Salem Hospital, Grande Ronde Hospital, Sky Lakes Hospital or Asante Health System in a clinical setting as an RN.
Scholarship awardees must remain in good academic standing.
