Drop-In Sessions

Drop-ins are for project point persons to get help, ask questions, and/or address any barriers in setting up their projects, as well as meet with us for pre-production survey reviews.
Drop-ins are NOT the same as training and NOT an alternative to training.

Survey Training Registration

Survey training is recommended for all personnel building and managing survey projects in OHSU's REDCap, and is required for personnel building and managing survey projects that use one of the Supported Service support tracks.

Survey Training Required

To be eligible for help with a survey project, personnel must first complete survey training. Please arrange to sign up for an upcoming Survey training, which is held the 3rd Thursday of every month, from 1pm to 3pm.

Testing Required

To be eligible for help with a survey project, before drop-in, please test your survey(s) and survey setting(s), by completing, as a survey, every form that you have enabled to be a survey. For testing help, review instructions on the REDCap wiki.

If this is the first time you are meeting with us about your survey project, unless it is very simple survey project, please expect that we will be focusing on set up activities, i.e. looking at how your project is using surveys, determining distribution mechanisms, etc.

We conduct pre-production survey reviews with personnel who completed testing and have finaliazed with us the survey set up and survey distribution in their project, and if e-consent is implemented have final versions of the e-consent survey/form in place and tested.
